Basic Stuff...

Hi! Obviously you are on my website so you have seen a little sliver of me already,
but here is some more stuff about me!
(Like many others,) I made this website to compile my interests and other stuff I
just find cool. So this site is just a dumping ground for all sorts of different things that I like!
I like to consider myself to be an artist because I am a maker of art, but art is not my occupation. Making, observing, and analyzing artworks is possibly my most favorite thing to do ever. I draw nearly almost every single day even if it's just a few doodles. I just feel so passionate about all kinds of artwork and creation and I'm not sure why. I have no idea where it came from because there are like zero people in my family who do/make art besides a great-great grandma on my mom's side. But she was more of a ceramics artist and I'm mostly a 2D person. Anyways ANYWAYS, sorry for blabbing but I just love art so so much and even though I agree it sounds cheesy I think I was "born to create," like that's what I was meant to do. Or whatever!
Also I hate hate HATE AI. I don't think there's many AI worshippers here on Neocities (most of the sites I see are artwork sites (which are all awesome by the way)), but if you love robot generated "art" and "writing" please get off my site!!! Thanks!!!
Yes I think AI is cool in like the stuff where it can detect cancer early, like THAT'S COOL, and USEFUL, but AI should not be used to do things humans are fully capable of (and better at might I add). Anyways I'm done now but I feel it's important to establish this.
Even though I love love love art, I do not think it will be my career. I'm pretty sure if I did that I would get burnt out and not be creating art for myself anymore, so it would just become more of a task than an enjoyable everyday thing. I'm thinking of pursuing environmental science or architecture/urban planning, and hopefully incorporating both of those topics into my career to build more environmentally friendly and sustainable cities. That way I could still have design/creation as a part of my career, but it will also be helpful to people and the planet :-)
As you may have seen on my homepage, I am a huge fan of the famed "old web" and a lot of the aspects of the 80s through 2000s (including fashion, music, that kind of stuff). This website isn't really trying to replicate those eras exactly, but I definitely draw a lot of inspiration from early-internet personal websites. I've just decided not to try to make my own site exactly like those, because I want to add in my personal touches to make it my own!
Anyways, I hope you enjoy meandering through my garden of code or whatever and stuff!!!
